Central Station Avignon is very close to the ancient heart of the city. It dates from the glorious period of the train and it is linked to the development of the Marseille - Lyon - Paris in the nineteenth century.
modest in size, it still receives, from 10 July to 12 September, Eurostar and European becomes for the occasion. Some TGV stop there, despite the great train station built for them outside the city. But the subject of this paper is devoted to fountains that adorn the central platform:
is a pleasant surprise to discover beautiful fountains here .
In fact, there are no water fountains in Avignon, you know why?
